New World Private School is an ambitious educational institution founded in Dubai in 2005. It endeavors to enhance the quality of education in the UAE by empowering our students with knowledge and skills including critical thinking, problem-solving, innovation and independent learning linking education to real life.

Located in Al Twar 1, NWPS offers its students a dual program. The IB (Primary Years Program) is offered to all students from KG1 to grade 3. Through this program, students explore their environment and learn about their world through play and relationships with peers, teachers, family and community members.

In line with our vision to develop 21st century skills in our students, and enable them to become productive and responsible citizens, NWPS follows the MOE curriculum from KG2 to Grade 12 while teaching optionally the Mathematics and Science in English until Grade 12.

Primary Years Program - Grades KG1 – Grade 3

NWPS has worked with the IB organization to develop a challenging program of education and assessment at a level suitable for younger children.

Designed for students aged 3 to 12, it focuses on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, both in the classroom and in the world outside.

At NWPS we regard this as the best preparation for students planning to engage in the IB Middle Years Program. It is designed to equip them for a dynamic college-career path and a good quality of life.

We follow the IB framework that is guided by six trans-disciplinary themes, using knowledge and skills derived from six subject areas, as well as trans-disciplinary skills, with a powerful emphasis on inquiry.

The subject areas of the PYP are language, social studies, mathematics, science and technology, arts and personal, social and physical education. Students are also required to learn a second language during the programme.

Assessment is carried out by teachers according to strategies provided by the IB, and with respect to guidelines to what the students should learn specified in the curriculum model.

In line with our vision to develop 21st century skills in our students, and enable them to become productive and responsible citizens, New World Private School follows the MOE curriculum while teaching optionally the Mathematics and Science in English until Grade 12.

The school enhances constantly the teaching and learning process through regular observations of classes and training programs offered to our teachers as well as keeping up regularly with the researches to apply the best international practices to strengthen the programs offered.
